  The Council of Catholic Women invites all women of the parish to an Ice Cream Social on Monday, September 9 at 6:30 PM in Fr Filip Hall, at St. John Church. (Please note our new start time!) An exciting new season of interesting programs will be announced during a short business meeting, followed by a social to get to know one another. Come join us!
  
  This month we are collecting children’s juice boxes, fruit cups, pudding cups and other snacks for the Watertown Food Bank.

  The Monthly Men's Group meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10th at 7 pm in the Church hall. We are very pleased to have Father Lavorgna as our guest that evening.
  
  Please note that we’re going to try something a little new in September. We invite you to come at 6:30 for some pizza and socializing before our time with Father Lavorgna. Come and grab a slice and some time to talk to one another
  
  Our meeting will begin at 6:30 pm with our talk at 7 pm in the Church Hall at St. John's. Come join us for some fellowship and sharing. Feel free to come with friends and neighbors to enjoy our time together as we get closer to another change in season!

  The next time our parish is scheduled to supply and serve the noon meal is this Saturday.
  
  If you can supply a 2 lb. cooked meat loaf, cans of vegetables, or would like to help serve, please sign up on the sheet located at the parking-lot side entrance to the church.
  
  Bring your meat loaf and vegetables to the church parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday.

• Blessing of Animals

  Celebrate the Feast of St Francis of Assisi by bringing your friendly pet or farm animal (or fish) to be blessed by Fr. Anthony.
  Community animal organizations will be offering giveaways for your pet.
