Our Mission Statement

We, the people of God gathered as Saint John the Evangelist faith community share the life-giving Word, the Eucharist and the sacraments, so that all might come to believe in the Son and have eternal life. Given this abundant life, we feel called to share our gifts and our faith with others.

Are You Registered in our Parish?

We welcome all who worship regularly with the St. John the Evangelist Parish Community, and invite you to register at the Parish Office so we may better know and respond to your needs.  Membership is required for those seeking a sponsor certificate to become a Godparent or Confirmation sponsor.

We also ask those moving within the parish or leaving St. John the Evangelist Parish to inform the Parish Office in order to keep our records accurate.

Call the Parish Office or click here to obtain a census form.

Vocations Corner

Today's readings are focused specifically on the duties of the family. The priests, brothers and sisters of the new century are in the care of your family today. Tend to them well; encourage them well; encourage their gifts and pray for their response to God's call.

To discern a vocation to priesthood, call Fr. Michael Casey, Director of Vocations, Pastoral Center,    Tel. 860-761-7456, email [email protected] or visit the web at www.hartfordpriest.com.
