Action Alert
Please click on the link below and ask members of the Judiciary Committee to oppose SB 1076
The Conference would like to thank all those who sent emails to the Public Health Committee in an effort to stop the approval of assisted suicide in our state. Unfortunately, the Public Health Committee has voted SB 1076 out of committee, mostly along party lines.
The bill will now proceed to the Judiciary Committee for consideration. In past years, the Judiciary Committee has been critical in stopping the legalization of assisted suicide.
Even if you sent an email to the Public Health Committee, please click on the link below and ask members of the Judiciary Committee to oppose SB 1076. The Conference, along with the disability community and others, will continue the fight, but we need your support.
Take Action Now
Email the Members of the Judiciary Committee
Ask them to vote "NO" on legalizing physician assisted suicide in Connecticut.

Holy Disciples Parish Update
As we move forward transitioning to our new parish, Holy Disciples, some things will take a longer period of time to convert than others. One such item is our Finances.
We ask that current parishioners who worship at St. John the Evangelist continue to write checks payable to St. John the Evangelist and likewsie, those who worship at St. Mary Magdalen contiunue to write checks payable to St. Mary Magdalen. You may continue to use your existing envelopes and on-line giving until further notice.
If you have any questions on this matter, please don't hesitate to contact the parish office.
