Our Mission Statement
We, the people of God gathered as Saint John the Evangelist faith community share the life-giving Word, the Eucharist and the sacraments, so that all might come to believe in the Son and have eternal life. Given this abundant life, we feel called to share our gifts and our faith with others.
Message from Fr. Anthony on Masses
To Our Parishioners
This past week the Archdiocese of Hartford posted guidelines for the opening up of churches for the public celebration of Mass. There has been some confusion about the exact date this will occur so I just want to clarify this for you. According to the directives of the Archdiocese we are able to celebrate public Masses starting Monday June 8th. Public masses will be for weekdays only at this time, and will be limited to 50 people per Mass. We will continue to stream Sunday Mass online for the foreseeable future. Details about the place, time and days of the weekday public Masses will be sent next week prior to June 8th. The process of opening up for public Masses will require us to adhere to strict rules of social distancing. Please visit our website stjohn.weconnect.com to view the guidelines from the archdiocese.
I look forward to the time we can gather, once again, for the celebration of the Eucharist.
May God bless you and keep you safe.
Sincerely in Christ
Rev. Anthony J. Smith

Live-Streamed Sunday Mass & Mass Intentions
Click the link below to join our live streamed Mass each Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. We had some sound issues last Sunday but they have been corrected.
Mass Intentions During the Covid-19 Pandemic
A note to those who have scheduled Mass intentions during this period of restriction on public Masses:
Due to the restrictions on public Masses the Mass intentions currently scheduled for a particular vigil or Sunday Mass will be combined into one Mass which is celebrated at 8:30 and streamed online. We will continue to combine the scheduled intentions while the restriction on public Masses is in place. If you do not wish to combine your Mass intention at this Mass please contact our office and we will find an open date later in the year. Please note that we have weekend Mass intentions already scheduled several months in advance.
