Our Holy Disciples Pro-Life Ministry is sponsoring a special period of Eucharistic Adoration in our parish. The first Thursday of each month is a devotion put aside by the Church in the honor of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Please join us for an hour of quiet prayer for the reparation to the wounds of Jesus and the Holy Eucharist on Thursday, March 7 from 8 to 9 PM in the intimate setting of our own Saint Mary Magdalen, rectory chapel at 145 Buckingham St. in Oakville.

The Men’s Group will meet on Tuesday, March 19 in Fr. Filip Hall at St John the Evangelist Church. Note: Our Planned Speaker, Father Anthony Federico, will not be able to attend due to Covid but we do have Father Jim Sullivan who will be filling in for him. Our guest speaker will be Fr Anthony Federico, who is the Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Hartford. He will be speaking on his path to the Priesthood. “From ESPN to the Priesthood” !! He is a dynamic speaker with an interesting personal story. We encourage all men to come listen to him. Pizza at 6:30 . The talk will begin at 7:00 pm in Fr Filip Hall at St. John Church. On Friday, March 22, the living Shadow Stations of the Cross will be presented by our Faith Formation Students at St. Mary Magdalen Church | 23 Meat Loaf for Soup Kitchen
The next time Holy Disciples Parish is scheduled to supply and serve the noon meal is this Saturday. If you can supply a 2 lb. cooked meat loaf, cans of vegetables, or would like to help serve, please Bring your meat loaf and vegetables to the St. John Church parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday We are also seeking volunteers to serve the meal. Choose a 9AM-12:30PM or 11AM-2PM shift, or stay for both. Follow us down to the Soup Kitchen. You won’t regret it. Bottle & Can Drive to Benefit Holy Disciples Parish Choir trip to Italy! We are having our drive through pick-up at the church to avoid the Shamrock Shuffle Road Race on Saturday morning. If you are picking up on Saturday, please avoid Buckingham Street between Polk School and St. Mary Magdalen School, and approach St. Mary Magdalen Church from the Main Street end of Buckingham Street.
