This year’s 40 Days for Life campaign runs from Wednesday, September 27 until Sunday, November 5, 2023.  It is an opportunity to pray for a change in the hearts and minds of those who advocate for abortion. Prayer cards are available at the entrances of the church.  

Holy Disciples Parish will be participating in the 40 Day campaign with a 15-hour Eucharistic Adoration in the St. Mary Magdalen Rectory Chapel at 145 Buckingham Street, Oakville, on Wednesday, October 11, following the 8 AM Mass concluding later that evening at 12 midnight. Parishioners are invited to sign up for an hour of Adoration at both entrances of the church.

Holy Disciples Parish will also be participating in a local prayer vigil on the sidewalk in front of the Waterbury Planned Parenthood, 617 Watertown Avenue, Waterbury on Sunday, October 15, from 7AM to 5PM. Signups for the Waterbury prayer vigil are also available at the entrances of the church.

In anticipation of next Sunday’s Waterbury Prayer Vigil a one hour Eucharistic Adoration will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church following the 5pm Mass on Saturday, October 14.
