11 Lessons and Carols at St. Mary Magdalen Church
The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a service of Scripture and song that dates to the late 19th century. In this service, we listen to seven Scripture lessons which recount the Fall, the promise of a Messiah, the Incarnation, and the Great Commission to preach the Good News. Each lesson is followed by a carol or other song that reflects on the lesson's message and a brief prayer. The lectors and the choirs of St. Mary Magdalen Church and St. John the Evangelist Church will join together in presenting this traditional service of the Advent Season. The service will be followed by a light reception in the St. Mary Magdalen Church Hall. All are invited to join us!

18 | 19 Bereavement Ministry
The Holy Disciples Bereavement Ministry will hold their monthly support meeting and Christmas gathering, on Monday, December 19 at 1:00 PM in the Faith Formation Conference Room at 9 Academy Hill, Watertown. If you have suffered the death of a child, parent, spouse or friend, The Holy Disciples Bereavement Support group is here to help you. Please call the Parish Office to register.

The Holy Disciples Respect Life Prayer Group will meet on Wednesday, December 28 at 7 PM in the Church Hall at St. John the Evangelist Church. They will pray a Rosary for Life and discuss plans for winter and spring activities. All are invited to attend.

Please join us Thursday December 29 at 7:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church for a Concert of Christmas Music! The St. John the Evangelist Choir will combine with the St. Mary Magdalen Choir to perform joyful Christmas Music for your enjoyment at St. John Church . There will be light refreshments following the concert.
