Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church Council of Catholic Women
The Council of Catholic Women will hold its first meeting of the 2022-2023 season on Monday, September 12 at 7pm in Fr Filip Hall, at St. John the Evangelist Church. We will have a short business meeting and will then be welcoming back Diane Ciba from the Watertown History Museum who has prepared to speak about “How We Got Our Kicks In 1966!” This will be a fun meeting about the history of Main Street in Watertown/Oakville. Women of St John The Evangelist and St Mary Magdalen are invited to join us for the meeting and desserts. If you would like to bring a donation for the local Food Bank, there is a need for school snacks such as pudding cups, fruit cups, granola bars, etc.

The St. John Bereavement Ministry will hold their next monthly support meeting on Monday, September 19 at 1:00 PM in the Faith Formation Conference Room at 9 Academy Hill, Watertown. **New Location for September’s Meeting** The St. Mary Magdalen and St. John the Evangelist Respect Life Ministries have merged to form Holy Disciples Respect Life Ministry. This month’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 21, at 7 PM in the St. Mary Magdalen Rectory meeting room at 145 Buckingham Street, Oakville. Our meeting will begin with the Rosary in the Rectory Chapel. Preparations are being made for 40 Days for Life which will be from September 28 until November 6. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
