1 Council of Catholic Women Picnic Meeting
The Council of Catholic Women is excited to be finally able to meet in person on Tuesday, June 1, 1:00 PM, at Veteran’s Park Pavilion for a “bring your own box lunch” picnic! (rain date 6/2) Although we’ve been busy with outreach projects all year, this will be our first in person meeting. Election of Officers will be held. All Women of the parish are always welcome to join us.

The St. John Quilters have resumed their meeting, now held on Thursdays from 1 to 3pm, downstairs in Fr. Filip Hall at St. John the Evangelist Church. The quilters make small quilts for children receiving the Sacrament of Baptism, as well as quilts for those in nursing homes and for those in shelters. All quilters are welcome to join them. Deacon Victor Mitchell will offer a Baptism Class on Thursday, June 3 at 6:30 PM in the Faith Formation Conference room. This class is for parents seeking the sacrament of Baptism for their children. Advanced registration is required. Please call the parish office to register.
