  • Conclusion of Novena to the Holy Spirit

    Friday Mar 1, 2019 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM

Our Novena to the Holy Spirit, which began on Thursday, February 21, continues this week, wrapping up on Friday, March 1 from 6:30 - 7:15 PM, at St. John the Evangelist Church. We will gather for closing prayers and a brief reflection.

The novena in honor of the Holy Spirit is the oldest of all novenas, since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Spirit. Addressed to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, it is a powerful plea for the light and strength and love so sorely needed by every Christian.
