Weekly Parish News for the Weekend of March 20th, 

Saint John the Evangelist Parish, like most organizations, continues to operate under the confides of social distancing. Here is what you should know and expect during this period from your parish:

- No public Masses will be celebrated through April 3rd. Fr. Anthony will offer private Masses        
          daily. 
 
- You can live stream Sunday’s Mass, 8:30am, on our Facebook page.  
                 www.facebook.com/stjohnwatertown 
 
- A parish YouTube channel has been created. We will be uploading videos to this location. 
                  Please subscribe. 
 
- The parish office is operating, however, we are not permitting walk-ins. Please call at 860.274.8836.
 
- The church is open daily for individual prayer. The blessed sacrament will be exposed, Friday from 2pm-5pm. Please keep your distance.
 
- Confessions will be available Saturday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm
 
- Fr. Anthony will continue to respond to emergencies as needed. Please call.

- This coming week, some ministries will begin gathering virtually:
 
- C4C will meet via Zoom at 6:45pm. The meeting will open at 6:15pm so members can begin to socialize. We will be sending invitations to members. 
 
- Our scripture study will meet via Zoom, Thursday at 7pm. The meeting will open at 6:45pm 
                   It’s not too late to join. Send an email to John Lynch to be invited - we will be emailing and calling 
                  (zoom meetings can be connected via phone).
 
- Additional ministries will be moving to virtual platforms, as this disruption continues.
 
- We will still be providing the noon meal, next Saturday March 28, at the St Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen - however, we will not be allowed to serve. Please consider dropping off your meatloaf or veggie, 9 a.m. , next Saturday, at the parking lot.
