1.Lifeteen Kickoff & Lifeteen Mass
St. John’s LifeTeen group will kick off their season with a LifeTeen Mass on Sunday, October 7 at 5 PM. Come and enjoy the contemporary sacred music that will accompany the Mass. Stay after Mass for a LifeTeen Life Night themed Turkey Olympics, beginning at 6:15 PM. All Teens are invited! The LifeTeen Band is also looking for an electric guitar player. Call the Faith Formation Office or the Parish Office if you are interested.
2. Blessing of Animals
The annual blessing of animals will take place in front of the church on Saturday October 6th at 10AM. Bring your friendly pet to meet Fr Anthony & Fr Dave!
3. Respect Life Sunday
Sunday October 7th is Respect Life Sunday. Pro Life Ministry will be sponsoring a pancake breakfast to generate awareness and raise some funds for the cause of protecting life. Pro Life will also be participating in a peaceful demonstration for the 40 Days for Life, also on October 7th, in the afternoon.
4. Pumpkin Patch
Our pumpkin patch will open on Friday October 12th. This is a great way to support the church, while purchasing Fall items. The sale will run for 3 weeks, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Help is needed to cover the sale tent hours. This is a great family service project! Sign Ups are available at the front table, this weekend.
5. October Festival
Our Events volunteers will be sharing about the October Festival to be held on Friday October 12th, at Masses this weekend. Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available at the front table, after this weekend’s Masses.
6. Night at Fino's to benefit St. John School Thursday, Sept. 27 - 5:30 PM-8 PM
