A note from Fr. Anthony: Archbishop José H. Gomez, the Archbishop of Los Angeles and president of the USCCB, has announced that on Friday, May 1st the bishops of the United States will join the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in renewing the consecrations of the two nations to the care of our Blessed Mother.

On that day, Archbishop Gomez will lead a brief liturgy with the prayer of re-consecration that will begin at 3:00 PM EDT. This liturgy will be streamed live on the USCCB social media accounts and will also be shared on the Archdiocese of Hartford Facebook page. In addition to the live liturgy led by Archbishop Gomez, Archbishop Leonard P. Blair will preside over a prayer service specifically for the Archdiocese of Hartford. Video of Archbishop Blair's liturgy will be available on the Archdiocese of Hartford Facebook page later on Friday evening.
