The Council of Catholic Women wishes to thank all our parishioners and the community for the generous donation of 1,230 warm pairs of socks for the Brian O’Connell Homeless Project. Donna Finneran, founder, was amazed. We filled her car with socks! This was especially meaningful to her this past weekend of September 11th because her twin brother Brian died homeless in 2016, due to post traumatic stress syndrome after watching the horrors of the terrorist attack 9-11-01.  It is in his memory that we had this collection to help others who are homeless.

The Council of Catholic Women is not meeting at this time due to Covid-19.  To stay connected and to continue good works, we will be sponsoring a Food Drive Oct 3/4 and a Christmas Toy Drive Dec 5/6.  Details will be posted in the bulletin soon.  So many people right around us are in need of our help!
