Social Justice Ministry - The Giving Tree Needs YOU!!

The Social Justice Ministry of Holy Disciples Parish is looking for volunteers from both church buildings to assist with the Giving Tree.

They need parishioners to assist with its set up in mid November and then during the weeks of November and part of December to gather the gifts returned under the tree and place them in marked bags for the recipients.  We will then need folks to deliver these gifts to the recipients on a given date.  This is a brief time commitment and one in which the whole family can participate.

This year Holy Disciples' Giving Trees will offer the opportunities to give to the following;  Watertown Social Services, Carolyn’s Place, St. Vincent DePaul Mission, Apple Rehab, and Pleasant View Manor.

The Giving Tree is being sponsored by Holy Disciples Social Justice Ministry who welcome and invite  all to be apart of this Parish outreach project.

Please call Roberta Hardt at the church office of St. Mary Magdalen at 860-274-9273 Monday—Thursday 10am to 2pm.

More information on the details of the start date and return dates for the Giving Tree will be provided in future bulletins.
