Men's Group Meeting - Tuesday June 19

In June, we have an opportunity to hear about a way that a parish in Maryland brought about a reversal of a trend that the Church, in general, has been experiencing... almost everywhere.

One in three Catholics is no longer connected to the Church.   Mass attendance has steadily fallen and participation in the sacraments has gone down as well.  What has happened? What might bring about a change to this direction?

A Catholic church in Maryland, home of the oldest diocese in America, The Church of the Nativity, has had a remarkable rebirth.  Father Mike White has been at the center of building an active community of dedicated Catholic parishioners.  He and his staff shared what, how and why they made the turnaround and what it has taken to see this growth of discipleship in their Church.

John Lynch and Carmelina Calabrese visited the Church of the Nativity and will be sharing their experiences at the June Men’s Group on June 19th at 7:30 in the Church Hall.  Come and see what brought about that change and talk about what we might learn that applies to our own Catholic community.

Come and bring a friend: Tuesday, June 19th from 7:30 to 9:00 in the Church hall.
