Ecumenical Lenten Service - St John the Evangelist April 3

This week’s Ecumenical Lenten Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church. It will begin with a simple soup supper at 6:30 PM, in Fr. Filip Hall, followed by a worship service at 7:30 PM, in the church.  The Lenten service will include a freewill offering to benefit the Watertown/Oakville Ecumenical Council’s Fuel Bank.

 With an overall theme of “Lenten Prayer”, the April 3, service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 574 Main Street Watertown.  Rev. Dave Mantz from United Methodist Church will present a talk on “The Darkest Hour”.

 There will also be a service on April 10 at Union Congregational Church, 167 Buckingham Street, with Fr. Anthony Smith as the presenter.
