The Council of Catholic Women and the Ladies Ministry of the Parish will have a meeting on Monday, October 3 at 7 pm at Fr. Filip Hall, St. John The Evangelist. Our guest speaker will be Donna Finneran from the Brian O’Connell Homeless Project who will speak about her work for the homeless. We are happy to have her back as she is a dynamic speaker.
At this meeting the women will choose a NEW NAME for our merged ministry! Suggestions of a new name can be emailed either to June Boisvert at ronjmb@optonline.net or to Linda Clarke at dougandlindaclarke@gmail.com.
Next year the Council of Catholic Women will celebrate their 100th year! Although we will have a new name, it will still be the 100th year of continuous support to the Parish. Both ladies’ groups will become stronger and can do even more now that they are joined together!
