The Council of Catholic Women is very thankful to have Sr. Barbara Valuckas as our Spiritual Advisor.  At our March meeting, Sr. Barbara provided a very inspiring presentation about her work in Lithuania and led us in prayer for the people of Ukraine and for peace in the world.  It was International Women’s Day so it was so appropriate to learn of the struggles women endure and the risks they take.  We talked about risks we take in our own lives and what we’ve gained from such risks. 

Many new members joined us, along with members of the Ladies Ministry of St. Mary Magdalen.  It was a wonderful evening.  We welcome ladies of both parishes to our next meeting, on Tuesday, April 5 at 7 PM here in Fr. Filip Hall to learn about the history of Oakville/Watertown and of our Churches.
