The Catholic Women of Holy Disciples Parish will hold its May meeting on Monday, May 1st at 7 pm in Fr. Filip Hall, St. John The Evangelist Church.  We will have election of officers at this time.  It will be a fun meeting- our Pocketbook Shower - making "Mommy Bags” to donate to Carolyn’s Place for expectant Moms to take to the hospital.  These will include personal items for the Moms to be, (flip flops, hair ties, comb, brush, toothbrush, etc.) and can include a newborn outfit, blanket etc for the baby. 

Carolyn’s Place is also in need of bath products for babies.  If you would like to donate baby wash, baby shampoo or baby lotion, we would also donate that to Carolyn’s Place. 

We will not be collecting food for the Food Bank at this meeting. 

We will also be supporting homeless women by filling purses with all kinds of items that women need, including gift cards to Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s etc., to be donated to the Brian O’Connell Homeless Project.  It is the Month of Mary - a great time to think of and help women in need. 

All ladies of both St. John The Evangelist and St Mary Magdalen are welcome to join us!
