Catholic Women of Holy Disciples Parish will meet on Monday Oct. 2 at 6:30 pm in Fr. Filip Hall, St. John The Evangelist.   Colleen D’Amico, RN, a member of Catholic Women, will be doing a presentation on how to use an AED Automated External Defibrillator.    We are pleased to announce that Colleen was able to get two such devices donated to our Parish, one for each Church.  This is a wonderful donation that can be used to save lives.  All women of the Parish,  are welcome to join us!  

Catholic Women will be sponsoring a SOCK DRIVE on Sat Oct 7 and Sun Oct 8 before all Masses at both our Churches with an easy drive up collection Sun Oct 8 from 1-2 pm in St. John the Evangelist parking lot to benefit the Brian O’Connell Homeless Project.   Please think about the homeless while you shop!  Donna Finneran depends upon our donations each year to keep the homeless supplied with clean, dry socks all winter!  She needs mostly men’s socks but can use some women’s also.  Together we can help them!
