Carolyn’s Place Baby Bottle Boomerang!

This weekend Carolyn’s Place members and members from our parish Respect Life ministry will be handing out baby bottles to all families, as we kick-off a Baby Bottle Boomerang event to support Carolyn’s Place Pregnancy Care Center.

Carolyn’s Place is a Catholic ministry that was founded by St. John the Evangelist parishioners in 1992, one year after the finding of a three hour old baby girl in the entryway of our church.  Since then, the caring staff and volunteers at Carolyn's Place have assisted in the birth of over 1,560 babies!  They assist young women and girls with unexpected pregnancies, provide parenting skills training to new mothers and fathers, conduct Christ centered education on human sexuality, and provide mentoring to teenage boys and girls.

Please take a bottle and fill it with your spare change between now and the end of the October.  At any time before then, you can return the bottle and deposit it in the collection bins at the church doorways.  (Checks are also accepted!)  Carolyn's Place takes no state or federal funds and therefore relies totally on individual donations, so your generosity is especially appreciated.  This is a fun and simple way to support life and this ministry that touches our parish in such a special way. Thank you.
