New Beginnings

“New Beginnings” is an Ecumenical Program designed to provide children in need with new school clothes.

Each child is provided with: 3 Shirts 2 Pairs of Pants 1 Fall Jacket 1 Package of underwear 1 Package of socks 1 $25.00 gift certificate (toward the purchase of a pair of shoes)

Working closely with the Social Services office, children are selected to participate in “New Beginnings” on the basis of need. Crossroads4Christ, our new young adult ministry, continues to meet on Monday evenings at the Faith Formation Center Meeting Room, 9 Academy Hill. Gatherings begin promptly at 6:30 PM and flow into adoration from 7:30 to 8 PM. All young adults, ages 18-32 are welcome!

Crossroads4Christ begins May 21

Crossroads4Christ, a newly forming local young adult ministry, begins regular Monday evening meetings on May 21 at the Faith Formation Center Meeting Room, 9 Academy Hill.

Monday Holy Hour

St. John the Evangelist will begin holding a weekly Holy Hour, Mondays from 7 to 8 PM.

The holy hour will be a combination of silence and light mediation music. We hope the faithful will utilize this new opportunity to be with the Lord on Monday evenings this summer.
