Archdiocese Announces Pilgrimage to Witness Pope Francis in Philadelphia in September - Registration deadline extended!

Note: There is still space available, but it is limited. A deposit is due upon registration, with the balance due June 1st

The Archdiocese of Hartford is announcing its plan for a three-day pilgrimage to Philadelphia to attend a Papal Mass celebrated by Pope Francis as well

as a spiritual conference. The pilgrimage will take place from September 25-27. The pilgrimage will be centered on the Pope’s first visit to the United Stated for the

World Meeting of Families. “It is very important to reaffirm the family, which remains the essential cell of society,” exclaims the Pontiff. He will celebrate Mass on

Sunday, September 27 in Center Pilgrims will depart on Friday, September 25th and can choose from three different departure locations:

1) St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield;

2) St. Bridget’s in Cheshire;

3) Our Lady of Pompeii in East Haven.

All buses will depart at noon.

On Saturday, September 26, pilgrims will be able to attend a conference led by Father Juan-Diego Brunetta, O.P. He will speak about the importance of the family at St. Andrew Church in Drexel Hill, PA. The conference will be available in English and Spanish. It will include the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, as well as Eucharistic Adoration, and a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Leonard P. Blair. 

The pilgrimage package includes: roundtrip bus transportation with Premier Bus Lines, 4-star hotel accommodations, two breakfasts, one boxed lunch, and two dinners.

Pilgrim kit and taxes are also included.
